At our family atelier, leatherwork is a quiet tradition — blending time-honoured techniques with a modern sensibility.
At the heart of the atelier is co-founder Maria and her team of artisans. After a lifetime working quietly behind the scenes for some of the most respected names in fashion, élosy emerged as a new chapter.
Craftsmanship for us is about an absorbing passion for leather craftsmanship, which means each detail is perfected time and again by Maria and her trusted hands. To celebrate this, with every item dispatched we include a card where you will find the name of every craftswoman and man that has touched your product. Because we make everything ourselves, we can tell you exactly where it comes from and who made it
For us, responsibility means longevity and consideration — using what we have and repairing where possible to create pieces meant to last for generations.
We work entirely with reclaimed leathers, only using excess hides from the luxury industry which would have otherwise gathered dust in far distant warehouses.
Our bags are designed to be worn, loved and inherited, which is why we offer lifetime repairs. The same hands that made your product, will carefully mend it should it ever fail you. And if you ever choose to part ways with an élosy item, we will give it a second life through our pre-loved programme. This legacy of care ensures that each item reflects both the heritage and the quiet dedication behind it.
At élosy, we believe luxury should be about the moments in life that cannot be measured. This belief shapes everything we do. For Maria, élosy is about bearing the fruits of a life spent quietly mastering her trade. For Alex, about legacy and a nostalgia for presence. élosy in many ways is more than the craft — it’s intention that carries meaning beyond the surface.
